Ever wanted to work on a farm? Collect eggs, feed the sheep, harvest in the garden? Get Gale Woods Farm, part of Three Rivers Park District, on your agenda. Located west of Lake Minnetonka in Minnetrista, Gale Woods Farm is a real working farm offering educational opportunities and fun for visitors of all ages.
And the farm isn’t all they have to offer. You can also hike, bike, boat and fish there. I’ve been there for weddings and birthday parties. And if you’re not invited there for a private event, you can explore the park on your own, arrange a field trip, or attend a public class or event.
I’m hoping to get back there this summer to check out their Saturday Mornings at the Farm with my kids.
