Sucker Creek Preserve is a great natural place to take your family on a great nature hike and it’s only 4 miles from Downtown Detroit Lakes. The Preserve is set up for school groups to learn more about the natural environment – including our forests, trout streams, wetlands, and the prairie. It features a mix of single track trails, wood chip covered paths, and an accessible trail leading from the parking area to the amphitheater.
